Bringing New Efficiencies to
Automotive Software Development

Over the last several years, companies in the automotive industry have increasingly recognized the business value they can gain by collaborating with other industry players to develop vendor-neutral, open source software that resolves common challenges.

Today, the Eclipse Foundation hosts multiple automotive working groups and a number of automotive technology projects. And we’re seeing companies from all areas of the automotive and transportation ecosystem get involved in open source software.

In this last newsletter of 2020, we take a closer look at how automotive technologies being developed at the Eclipse Foundation can be used to reduce the duplication of effort, simplify the complexity of multivendor projects, and optimize embedded software systems.

Wishing you a happy and safe end to 2020 and a prosperous 2021!
