Re: [stem-dev] Issues with the loggers

Hi Frederico,

Have you tried to check if logging at least works with a simple example? Like the one in the STEM Wiki: http://wiki.eclipse.org/STEM_Loggers

As per running things in parallel, STEM has the capability of dividing the work of the solvers over multiple concurrent threads.
Check out: Window -> Preferences -> STEM -> Solver

I believe the default is 2 threads but this can be increased with this setting.

'Hope this helps.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [stem-dev] Issues with the loggers
Date: Mon, Jan 18, 2021 5:26 PM

Hello all,

I have my models set up, but I still am having some issues with the loggers. Everything appears to be adequately set up, and I still can't get any csv files out.

However, I'm running global models, logging each day, which might be too much for the memory of my laptop. I'm now trying alternatives (e.g. log every x days).

A nice additional feature could be, for these large scale simulations, despite running on sub-national regions the output could be produced per country.

Are there any other alternatives (e.g. running in parallel)?

Thanks,
--
