Re: [phoenix-dev] Status of Git migration

Denis and I have discussed dropping Phoenix as a project. We're really not acting as a project, and we see little value in continuing it as such.

Regardless of that discussion, having Planet Eclipse as part of Phoenix does not--in my opinion--make any sense. We stopped regarding the EF-maintained elements of the website as part of Phoenix a long time ago. It's time to do the same for Planet.

Webmaster, can you move Planet Eclipse to Git (and setup the necessary website propagation mechanism)?

In the meantime, can you please add Ian to the planetadmin group?

Should we be setting up a planeteclipse-admins mailing list or something?

Should we open a bug for this?

Wayne

Hi everyone,

Two things:

I wanted to add a few people to PlanetEclipse, but I'm not sure if we've moved to Git or not. The last email was on the 12th of Sept (From Denis) that gave information about the 'Test Git Repo'. But I know there was also a mandate to move by the end of September.

Also, can I get my committer status re-enabled?  I have been able to commit [1] to the project, but I'm not technically listed as a committer anymore. I think it was determined that removing me was an error.

Cheers,
Ian
