Action items at the end.

Attendees

---------

 - Gerry, Abhi, Jeff, Valery, Brian, Mike, Dale, Jim, Tom, Heather, Daniel, Duane, Mary

AGENDA

======

IIW preparations

Significant progress had been made on the demo since last week.

Have succeeded in doing demonstrating end-to-end multi-project interoperability using IE7, Higgins and Bandit to login to a CardSpace enabled site.

-         Still have server issues for hosting the STS and IdAS – are implementing plan B

-         Testing with other projects has begun.

o       Jeff has been able to successfully test CA's eTrust Directory against the latest IdAS JUnit test bed.  IdAS was able to bind, read the schema, and access the directories contents.  The tests ran successfully within an eclipse project, and exercise the basic binding mechanisms.  He hopes to get to the next level of verification when and if additional unit tests are available.

o       Chuck Mortimore is beginning to test his ISS with Higgins

Other topics

------------

- Higgins has a virtual Eclipse Server to run our STS – we will make it available as soon as we have it up and running.

- EclipseCON

Brian and Mike have discussed proposing an ALF-Higgins STS demo for EclipseCON.  Demo proposals aren’t due until next year.

Long talk proposals are due December 1.  So far there are three presentation proposals mentioning Higgins – Eclipsezilla numbers 3694, 3764 and 3765.  Voting and comments on presentations can be done through December 1.

-         Novell has generously offered to host the next Higgins face-to-face meeting in Provo January 24-26

-          Gerry has made the first pass on an outline for the “Principles of Identity” paper.  He and Mary plan to iterate on it and distribute a preliminary draft outline to the other volunteers:  (Paul, Tony, Dale, Tom, Jeff) on Friday afternoon.  Eve has also offered to review it.

-          Process for third party IP with IPzilla -  Mary to review Tom’s updates to the wiki.

-         Oracle announcement on Identity Governance framework and its Higgins messaging.  Are scheduling follow-up with Oracle.
