I am working with the PMC to create
the Eclipse project's plan for the Helios (3.6) release. Please discuss
with your component team and send along any big work items you are planning
that you think should appear on the project-level plan. Typically we only
create plan items for "big" chunks of work (3+ person months),
cross-cutting items that affect many teams, or closely related sets of
smaller items that add up to a big work effort. Smaller items are more
suited to your local component plan rather than the wider project plan.
Note that I already have input from the IBM planning process, so I am mainly
interested in plan items that fall outside of that.
