Patch applied.

Sorry, guys,

but my committer account isn't fully complete yet.
I'll ask the Eclipse Webmaster to check my commit permissions, but could you guys please apply this patch (attached) to the map file while I solve this issue?
I will also update the babel map file location, since it's just a link.

Many thanks!

FYI, I'm updating MTJ's map file, using the tag 1.1RC1.

I'll ask the Babel team when a new pseudo-translation pack will be available so we can test it and I'll reply here as soon as they answer me.

I thing for (1) the release review slides are already posted and open for comment in this location http://www.eclipse.org/dsdp/mtj/reviews/MTJ_1.1_Release_Review.ppt
(2) Needs  the API report URL only (the bugs are already listed) which can be generated as part of the build
(12) is probably a glitch on the grid software it should be green as the required information is already provided (I can see it on the portal)

6, 7, 11 seems good candidates to work on.

That's great news!

Another great piece of news is that Daniel Pastore is now an MTJ committer. Since we have a build now, I believe we can focus on the other train requirements.

1) Release review
2) Api report
3) Engage community
4) Usability guidelines
5) Measurable performance
6) Use Babel PTT
7) Enable use with all languages
8) Accessibility
9) Unit tests
10) API policy
11) Retention policy
12) Project metrics

From all of them, we can start working right away in items (1), (6), (7), (11), (12). We helped to prepare Sequoyah release review slides, so we'll work on a draft version for MTJ and then send it for you guys to review.

If there is any other point that you believe we can help, please let us know.

Tks,
 Marcel

i found this weekend the problem with the  build script. the issue in happening only during the singing of the SDK component. i'm investigating the root cause and hope to have a fix as soon as possible. in the worst case we will generate a build without the SDK unti this Wednesday.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about the build scripts.  If there is anything I can do to help out with the Helios stuff, let me know.  I don't have a lot of time in the coming weeks, but I'm willing to try to help out where I can.

It looks like Gustavo has got to some of the build scripts and updated them for 3.6 but not all of them. Although I am familiar with PDE builds,  I am not  familiar with the MTJ build scripts before I start fiddling with it can anyone more familiar work with me on them. The documentation is very limited on them

I think we now have a manageable list of requirements remaining to satisfy for Helios. The build seems to be the major issue. The committer approval is waiting on DSDP PMC at this time.

Hi Gorkem,

great advance! We (Eldorado team) were planning to help you guys on this front (Helios requirements) this week on. While Pastore committer status is not ready, we'll check what we can do to have all the requirements filled and get in touch with you.

Regarding the build, for Pulsar generation we would need an integration build by Wednesday (May 12), so we can fix possible problems (if any). Is there something you need to get the build working? If you want, we can provide Sequoyah build scrips, since MTJ now has to be built against Helios, and we already did the necessary changes in Sequoyah side (maybe you can reuse something). Not having an integration build by next wednesday might impact the package generation for RC1.

Please let us know if there is something else we can do.

Tks,
 Marcel

I have created a wiki page to document the capabilities provided by MTJ (there are not many anyway ) Here is the page http://wiki.eclipse.org/DSDP/MTJ/MTJ_Capabilities . I do not think it requires more information but if you feel it does please feel free to add. Also updated the release train tracker with the information

Also did a check for ICU4J requirements. Found a couple of places where the new code needs to use ICU4J. Also fixed them and updated the tracker. Committers, please do think about requirements if you are updating code on MTJ.

I think we need to generate an API report for 1.1 stream on the next I-build to satisfy that requirement. Can we still try to generate an integration build?
