Please find below the minutes from the meeting today. Included are some announcements about where pages in the old wiki have been moved to.

Actions from last meeting details

• Move BREE to Java 17 DONE See Issue 80
• Prepare repo for CDT 11 - deadline is in time for 2022-12 M1 in late September DONE See PR 79
• Create “debug”, “build”, “editor”, “documentation” labels DONE - see the current set of labels
• Improve documentation about when to make issues and having PRs with good titles. Part of the solution is to add a “noteworthy” label. The noteworthy label has been done and applied to those issues/PRs that it applies to so far. Carried forward

GitHub migration

• migrated most the Wiki content (See PRs linked to #32), the content is now here:
  • N&N: https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt/tree/main/NewAndNoteworthy
  • API deprecation and deletion: https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt/blob/main/NewAndNoteworthy/CHANGELOG-API.md
  • FAQs, both user and dev: https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt/tree/main/FAQ
  • Policy, contributing, etc in the root of the repo: https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt
  • The wiki pages that have been migrated from https://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT have had a banner added to each page redirecting users to where the new content should go
• Some Wiki content still needs to be moved.
  • Discussed on the call, conclusion added to comment on #32
• GitHub actions have been created for PRs, see https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt/tree/main/.github/workflows

GDB changes

• Torbjörn has made numerous fixes to GDB:
  • Better feedback on unwinding issues, see discussion on https://www.eclipse.org/lists/cdt-dev/msg35356.html for how to present that to users in CDT
  • Proper unwinding of S&D floating point registers on Cortex, see various discussions on https://sourceware.org/pipermail/gdb-patches/

Race condition in joining indexer

• The Eclipse platform has a set of changes for 2022-12 M1 that causes the indexer join to deadlock in CDT.
  • See the linked changes for details
