How to Install the Spaces Plug-in

Many of the Spaces Providers have all-in-one update sites to simplify installation.
For example, using the AOL XDrive/Cloudsmith update site:
  1. "Help" > "Software Update" > "Find and Install" > "Search for New Features To Install"
  2. Press "New Remote Site" and enter "Spaces" and "http://dev.cloudsmith.com/updates/"
  3. Check-select that box and press "Finish"
  4. Check-select "Cloudsmith Spaces" then press "Finish"
  5. Step through the install dialog, answering all the questions, etc.
  6. Restart Eclipse

If you want to use the eclipse.org mirrors:

  1. Follow these Installing Subversive instructions.
  2. Restart your Eclipse.
  3. "Help" > "Software Update" > "Find and Install" > "Search for New Features To Install"
  4. Press "New Remote Site" and enter "Spaces" and "http://download.eclipse.org/technology/spaces/updates/"
  5. Press "New Remote Site" and enter "Buckminster" and "http://download.eclipse.org/tools/buckminster/updates/"
  6. Check-select "Spaces" and press "Finish"
  7. Check-select "Spaces" and press "Select Required", then press "Finish"
  8. Sstep through the rest of the install dialog, answering all the questions, etc.
  9. Restart Eclipse
