Eishay
last week OHF bridge work started - full steam ahead, 4 students for 3 months to work on it.
hopefully by the end of the week, we will have some of the functionality working with EMR.
Only proof of concept. Month after we will create something more stable, and target other
applications. Next week will talk to CapMed (last connectathon + HIMSS conference).
Patient identity feed first, then document query and then document source. CTS - need
to talk to Mayo - what kind of client API? XUA - will be embedded in the web service
plug-ins. Same for HL7.
Bridge - we talked about it previously - not only ISV's will need to work with us, also
back end stuff like PIX servers, still looking for vendors. Talking to initiate (Bill K).
Also talking to Bill Majurski to find out who's interested. NIST have their own open
source implementation - need to check with them - and use their registry.
We will have a problem distributing the integration with openEMR because of licensing.
Maybe have to contribute to openEMR, work with OPenEMR or developers
Sarah
