The MDDi project produces an extensible framework and exemplary tools dedicated to integration of modeling tools in Eclipse. This framework simplifies tool interactions by formalizing the operations applied on models (e.g. model transformation, model validation) as "modeling services". It also supplies means to exchange model semantics, providing the ability to maintain consistency of elements defined in different modeling languages.
