Goal
- test new functionality added since 4.6 M3
- verify that severe bugs are correctly fixed
Test New Functionality
Note: First test the items where your name is listed first. Then test the other items.
Information text and background color (Markus, Noopur - Questions: Leo)
Test the Javadoc view, Javadoc hover and Problem hover.
- verify that by default the text is readable
- verify that links are visible
- verify that things are readable after switching to the dark theme
- verify that preference changes are effective immediately and after a restart
- verify that the Javadoc colors are inherited
- verify that changing the Javadoc colors works and does not affect the information colors
New hyperlink actions (Dani, Markus - Questions: Noopur)
- verify Ctrl+Click for classes
- verify Ctrl+Click for interfaces
Launch Groups (Noopur, Markus - Questions: Sarika)
Verify the new Launch Groups feature (for details see bug 492788)
Sort by breakpoints creation time (Noopur, Dani - Questions: Sarika)
- verify that the sorting is correct
- verify that the sorting is updated when breakpoints are added or removed
