Setup

Goal

verify all RC1 bug fixes
free-style testing with focus on JDT and Text

Test items

Test HiDPI (Noopur and Markus)

Verify with different scale factors that it is usable. Make sure to test at least 100, 150 and 200.
Verify that the provisional system properties (see bug 493462) work.

Verify ISV Doc (Dani)

Verify that new extension points and APIs appear in the documentation. See the ApiDocTest from bug 468364 and manually verify the output in org.eclipse.ua.tests.doc.AllTests.txt (or in the latest build).
Assuming the extension point doc is OK for the previous release, then one can import all plug-ins and search for *.exsd in the previous and the current release. The difference will be the new extension points that need to be verified in the Help.

Free-style testing with focus on JDT and Text (All)

work on a pet project or on a bug fix
goal is to use as many JDT and Text features as possible
no doc writing (since that doesn't test our features)

Before starting to verify a bug add a comment indicating that you are about to verify it.
