Hi, looking at the CDO 4.1 code base there seems to be quite a bit of code to support an SSP acceptor based on the TCP acceptor. Can anyone comment on how whether they've used the SSP acceptor before and how it should be configured?

Thanks,
Warwick

Our committers from NoMagic have developed this transport in the scope of this bugzilla:

340108: Provide an SSL transport implementation for Net4J
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=340108

There are a couple of examples and tests available:

/org.eclipse.emf.cdo.examples/src/org/eclipse/emf/cdo/examples/StandaloneContainerExampleSSL.java
/org.eclipse.net4j.examples/src/org/eclipse/net4j/examples/echo/client/EchoSSLClient.java
/org.eclipse.net4j.examples/src/org/eclipse/net4j/examples/echo/server/EchoSSLServer.java
/org.eclipse.net4j.examples/src/org/eclipse/net4j/examples/transfer/UploadSSLClientAction.java
/org.eclipse.net4j.examples/src/org/eclipse/net4j/examples/transfer/UploadSSLServer.java
/org.eclipse.net4j.examples/sslKey
/org.eclipse.emf.cdo.server/CDOServer_SSL.launch
/org.eclipse.emf.cdo.server.product/config-ssl/cdo-server.xml

org.eclipse.emf.cdo.tests.config.impl.SessionConfig.Net4j.SSL
/org.eclipse.emf.cdo.tests/src/org/eclipse/emf/cdo/tests/AllTestsMEMBranchesSSL.java
/org.eclipse.emf.cdo.tests/launches/CDO AllTests (MEM branching SSL).launch
/org.eclipse.emf.cdo.tests/sslKey

I hope that gives you some pointers.

Cheers
/Eike
