Adding New Debugger Command [message #232863] Mon, 13 April 2009 20:16 Go to next message

I am looking through the CDT source for the first time. I am trying to
figure out how to add a new button and command to the debugger -
something similar to step - but I am having trouble seeing where this
would fit in or even if its possible without digging very deep. If
someone could give me some pointers on where to look for this, I would
appreciate it.

thanks,
adam

Hi, Adam,

The CDT debugger is built on an an abstract debugging framework in the
Eclipse Platform. So, there are several plug-ins to investigate to
become familiar with the code.

The Eclipse corner may have some helpful articles, too. A quick search
for "debugger" in the corner turned this up:

http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-Debugger/how-to.html

HTH,

Christian
