I'm using Eclipse 3.4.2 with CDT 5.0.2.200902130801 on a Vista SP1 box.
I'm trying to debug a project built with MinGW using the MinGW gdb,
version 6.6.

The debugger stops in main(), and I can step through the program.
However, any breakpoints I set by double-clicking the marker bar are
ignored.

If I enable verbose console mode and issue "info breakpoints", I don't
see any breakpoints listed. On the other hand, I can set breakpoints
manually in the console (e.g. "b foo.c:123"), and the breakpoint will be
honored (a temporary workaround).

Another observation: In the Breakpoints view, I do indeed see the
breakpoints I've set by double-clicking. But, if I press the "Show
Breakpoints Supported by Selected Target" button, the breakpoints are
all filtered out. I assume this is related to my problem.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Do you have other plug-ins installed besides Eclipse and CDT?

Yes. I won't list them all (unless you want me to), but here are the
installed features: Mylin; CDT; Eclipse: CVS Client, JDT, Platform, and
RCP; EMF: Common, Common UI, Ecore, Ecore Edit, Edit, and Edit UI; GEF:
Draw2d and GEF Framework; Help System Base; and XSD: XML Schema
Definition Model, and Edit.

Thanks.

In any case, if somebody else finds this, I've filed a bug report:
