Don't know if this is a bug or that I can't see how to make it work, I have added a value property to a block, and set the default value (a real number).

Next I select Default value from the Appearance tab, but all I get is the '=' sign, not the value I set in the UML tab?

Regards,
Tomas Sandkvist

Hi Tomas,

I just tried performing the exact steps you described (using yesterday's nightly), and it seems to work [EDIT - Oops, no it doesn't. See below]. Which version of Papyrus are you using?

Regards,
Philippe

It seems you are using SysML?

Bitten by this one? https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=413634

It seems my initial response hasn't gone through moderation so I can't edit it just yet; I wanted to point out, though, that I did manage to reproduce the problem on yesterday's nightly after I'd set the value to a real number as mentioned.

After testing it a bit, it seems that LiteralNull also shows an empty "=" sign, but I don't know if that's intended?

Regards,
Philippe

Hi Philippe!

Yes, that's the same issue as I have, and yes I'm a SysML guy. I use 0.10.2.v201403040623 due to some other issues I had that were mitigated in that build. I can update to the latest 0.10.2 nightly, unless you have tested with a Luna nightly? Then perhaps this issue remains in the 0.10.2 builds?

Regards,
Tomas

Hi Tomas,

Sorry, I didn't edit my original reply in time - turns out it doesn't work on the Luna nightly, either. I'll have a quick look at the code and report on Klaas's bug if I see anything

EDIT : Found the issue: a switch case statement that didn't include a case for LiteralReals. I added a proposed patch (for the luna branch) to Klaas's bug report.

Regards,
Philippe
