Initially when starting Eclipse, it asks for workspace and runs normally.
Unfortunatelly the program leave some (maybe configuration or lock) file
on HDD during close. Because of this the next time it won't start with an
error:

"JVM terminated. Exit code=1
/usr/bin/java
-Xms40m
-Xmx256m
-jar /opt/eclipse/startup.jar
-os linux
-ws gtk
-arch x86_64
-launcher /opt/eclipse/eclipse
-name Eclipse
-showsplash 600
-exitdata e0013
-vm /usr/bin/java
-vmargs
-Xms40m
-Xmx256m
-jar /opt/eclipse/startup.jar"

I'm using openSuse 10.2(X86_64) Kernel 2.6.18.8-0-3 (default)

Hi

Go to workspace/.metadata and check the .log file.

There should be a clue.

Regards,
Chris

Error: Workspace in use or cannot be created, choose a different on.
Eclipse did shutdown correctly, but left some garbage on HDD.
