Hi,

Has anyone seen the error "Background Indexer Crash Recovery" repeatedly in
their Eclipse error log?

I get this when I save a file and frequently when attempting to fix a code
problem using the fix suggestion mechanism (click on problem marker in the
gutter of the editor).

Thanks,
Mark

Here's a log entry:

This was happening to me when I was running out of memory as the indexer
attempted to index my workspace.
How much heap are you giving Eclipse using the -vmArgs option?

See

for more details
