preferece on my .c files tels me that they are 'text files' dispite that
global file types indicates that a *.c file is a C-file. What have I done
wrong here...? To make even more confused: the assembler files mentioned
in my earlier post are indeed recognised as assembler files but not
assembled but the C files are compiled !?!?
