CSD for Eclipse [message #172351] Sun, 24 September 2006 21:23 Go to next message

My computer science class recently switched to eclipse, and we love it,
except that it doesn't have the CSD (control structure diagram) function
like pcGrasp and jGrasp. The diagraming makes it so much easier for us in
class. Our class contains highschool juniors and seniors taking AP
computer science AB, and most of us are pretty smart, but we all really
like the CSD. Our teacher really misses it too. So I figured if those
other compilers had it, there must be a way to look at their source code
to write a plugin for eclipse, or probably one existing already, but I
googled for an eclipse CSD plugin and it doesn't seem like there is one.
So is there an existing CSD plugin or somethin that "prettyfies" the code?
Or how would we go about creating our own? All the computer science
students at our school would greatly appreciate an answer. Thanks in
advance.

Hi Seth,

ArgoUML has a set of diagrams.
It recently released a plugin for Eclipse.

Nice to hear that your AP class is using Eclipse.

Good Luck
Charlie
