Hi,

we're using Eclipse 3.0 M5 on WinXP and cvs 1.12.2 on a Linux box.

We're running into trouble when committing a new project to the cvs
repository: "Unknown response received from cvs server: 0".

Access to the cvs with 'cvs(1)' and with WinCVS works well.

Any hints what's wrong?

Regards
Götz

What connection method are you using (pserver, extssh or ext)?

Sorry, I've forgotten that. It's pserver without TCP-Wrappers.

Götz,

We haven't had an oportunity to test against CVS server version 1.12.2
yet. It would be a great help if you could follow the steps at the URL
below (for obtaining a protocol trace) and open a bug report with the
output and the steps to reproduce the failure.

http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E/plat form-vcm-home/docs/online/cvs_features2.0/cvs-faq.html#misc_ 0

Thanks,
Michael
