I am working on developing an Eclipse plugin which can access native methods. I am working in Ubuntu 12.10 with Eclipse 3.8.I have a .so file which has been generated from c++ files. Swig was used to generate Java wrappers. Now, the problem arises when I access pointers- it throws a type mismatch error for SWIGTYPE_p_int as 'cannot convert SWIGTPE_p_int to SWIGTYPE_p_int'. But this happens only within the plugin project. The methods in the .so file work perfectly well when accessed from within a normal Java application. I am at a loss to understand what to do. Can someone please help me?
pointer_add.i is the Swig interface file, pointer_add.cpp and pointer_add.h are the respective cpp and header files.
