Hello,

I am using RAP 1.5.1 and I notice that the beforeDestroy() method does not get called when user closes the browser, or the browser tab. Is this expected?

I apologize if this question has been discussed before but those threads were created when RAP was at 1.3 or 1.4. I am wondering if there are any enhancement that had been made to 1.5.

I found this bug that was open in RAP 1.3 time frame but it is still open.

Hi Ronald,

What should I say - the bug is still open. But I think because of the
steady demand for this feature we should re-investigate. No promises for
2.0, but if someone comes up with a draft patch that works with all
relevant browsers, that would of course be helpful.

Regards, Ralf

Thanks Ralf.

I was under the impression that this is supported but you are right that this has to be a desirable function to support if you are building a web application that supports multiple user sessions.

Happy holidays to you and the RAP team!

Ronald
