Started using Eclipse Version: 3.0.0 Build id: 200308281813 a couple of
days ago. (Switching from JBuilder 6) I really like Eclipse but today I
come in and start Eclipse, edit a java file, build it to test the change.
It starts a full build and the build takes forever, I started it 15
minutes before lunch and came back from lunch and it's still running for
over an hour.
The build progress gets to 100% within a couple of minutes and then stays
there, memory usage keeps going up until it's used it memory and starts
garbage collecting (I think). I've set max memory to 512m (-vmargs
-Xmx512m).
The project is large ~3000 java classes, but until today it didn't take
long for it to build. I've turned off automatic builds.
I've killed and restarted Eclipse a couple of times with the same result.
I have the Perforce tool installed if that makes any difference.
Help, at this rate I'll have to go back to JBuilder, because I can't get
anything done. I'm not sure where to look for the problem.
Mark.

After playing with the problem filters, the build now works again.
Something about it trying to filter the list of warning and errors.
