Only part of the file is shown [message #141703] Mon, 06 March 2006 15:26 Go to next message

I'm running the following release.
Version: 3.1.0
Build id: I20050627-1435

When I do a search for a string in a file Search->File I get a list of
files that contain the string I am looking for. (shows up in the search
tab.)

Now when I double click on one of the files it opens up in the correct
place and shows me the string I searched for.

The problem is it only shows the current function, not the whole file.
This is very annoying as the only way I can work out to see the whole file
again is to open and close it.

Is there a way to make Eclipse open the whole file in the correct place?
Or if this isn't possible is there a command/key combo that I can use to
open the whole file?

It used to work but now it doesn't. I don't know if it was upgrading from
3.0 that did it or if it was something I altered by mistake.

Anyway, any help would be great.

Greig

SOLVED!

It appears that there is an icon with the help text of "Show Source of
Selected Element Only". This feature was enabled. Turning off this icon
fixed my problem.

Thanks
