Hi,

I installed Eclipse 3.1 and M5 WTP.

I created a new "Dynamic Web Projects" from the J2EE perspective.

I added one jsp page and started the server with "debug".

Unfortunately my break poinst are ignored. Do I have to setup anything
to debug jsp pages?

Regards,
Oli

ps. "Open Resource" (Ctrl-Shift-R) shows every JSP twice. Once in
WebContent and in .deployable. Is it possible to turn that off?

Does that reply to your question?

Apparently, you're not the only one to have the issue with that version.
Maybe you could try another one...

No, I just tried it using WTP M5 with Apache Tomcat 5.0.29 and it
stopped on my breakpoints and made the local variables visible as
expected. The .deployables folder is currently required on Flexible
projects and to function properly I think you need to allow Eclipse
to Build Automatically. With that said, I did run into the same
problem at first when I had Build Automatically turned off--a Clean
and Rebuild of my Flexible project solved that.

So, if you have Build Automatically disabled, try cleaning and
rebuilding the project manually.

You tried Tomcat 5.5.9 and it works. Thanks for the idea.
