How to use BundleWatcher to listen to bundle state change globally [message #108093] Tue, 15 April 2008 05:07 Go to next message

(I already asked in eclipse.platform, but maybe, this is the right place
to ask such questions...)

Is this possible (how)? Or is it discouraged?

If I cannot use BundleWatcher, how can I listen to bundle state change
globally, i.e. not just in a context manner (as is the case for
BundleListener)?
I want to track bundle state change (especially before a bundle is
started) in order to check whether an application user has rights to start
that bundle...

Thanks!
