Hi,

In EMF projects we use the org.eclipse.emf.ecore.generated_package extension point to register packages from models:

  <extension point="org.eclipse.emf.ecore.generated_package">
    <package
       uri = "http://www.xtext.org/example/Domainmodel"
       class = "org.eclipse.xtext.example.domainmodel.domainmodel.DomainmodelPackage"
       genModel = "org/eclipse/xtext/example/domainmodel/Domainmodel.genmodel" />

  </extension>

How could I do that with Xcore models ?

regards,

Cristiano

The generator does already generate registrations, but it's for the
Xcore resource, which does contain a GenModel, so should be fine. I
think it probably doesn't work though because the registration doesn't
indicate which offset within the resource contains the GenModel. Please
open a bugzilla so you can track the fix for that.
