Hi, i need create a new file wizard for my DSL in eclipse like the class wizard of java. Somebody can suggest me something how to achieve this with an extension point

Need only specify the file name and the project.

Hi,

there are online tutorials for that and there is even a Eclipse wizard for that!

open Manifest file ->Extensions -> Add -> Extension Wizard -> New File Wizard.

First, thanks for your answer.

Now, with this 'new file wizard' i get this :

and after i press the next button this :

Now, i only need a button in new->button like the next image:

Hmmm, seems to me this isn't Xtext-specific. And in any case, could you describe exactly what you want, in text? Visually comparing some (edited) screen shots isn't really working for me...

Ok, thanks for the answer.

I need a menuItem in the project context menu item - new, that allow me to create a file with the extension of my dsl(mydsl) predefined..My dsl is made with xtext, and i made it reading this guide :

I dont want have to use new-file and have to type the file name.extension !! i need something more custom for my rcp
