I'm sorry if this is an intrusion here. I write the best practices column
for Software Test and Performance magazine. (http://stpmag.com). I'm
working on a column on testing with Eclipse and am wondering if it would
be ok to ask a few questions on the topic here (related to TPTP)?
Thanks,
Geoff Koch

I guess it really depends on the type of questions that you ask.
Generally, there shouldn't be a problem with answering non-trivial
technical questions.

Thanks, Navid. It seems like there is tons of information out there on
JUnit (i.e., unit testing during the coding process, etc.). However I
haven't had much success in finding actual users of downstream Eclipse
testing tools, such as TPTP. Basically, I'm looking for someone to share a
story or two about how they started experimenting with TPTP, how they use
it today and so on. Should I be more specific?
Thanks again,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,
I personally wouldn't be a good candidate, since I'm involved in the
development process of TPTP and would offer a biased view.
If there are users of TPTP tests that would like to share their story with
Geoff, please respond.

Hi Navid,
Actually, in this case a biased view is okay. I'm writing the piece as a
column and not as a straight piece of reporting and so have more
journalistic leeway. Also, do you have any advice on where else I could go
to ask a few questions -- both about TPTP and testing with Eclipse
generally?
Thanks,
Geoff
