Hi,
I've noticed some people use MinGW with Eclipse CDT to build Windows EXEs
and DLLs. I've been using MinGW for a little bit (recent convert from
Visual C++ !!), but I'm wondering if there are any tips or info on
configuring CDT to build and debug with MinGW (preferably without the use
of MSYS). I didn't see any information in the Development Guide or CDT
website.
I'd be willing to capture any info people share with me and write it up in
a nice document for others.
Sincerely,
Eric H. Jung

Well, so far I've only gotten responses from people who like that I'll put
a document together -- and no real information!
I'm particularly interested in how people got MinGW debugging to work
inside Eclipse, so that step over/into work.

I think one important point is:to download the correct version of MinGW
and latest GDB v5.2.1(which is optional package).
After that, all work is quite easy:to write your own makefile.Notes:if
you're developing/debugging on windows platform, select 'PE Window Parser'
in C/C++ Project Properties tab page.
I don't think it's too diffcult to use MinGW in Eclipse. At least I've
used MinGW/CDT/Eclipse to develop/debug my .DLL libraries.I appreciate CDT
team's work on this great open source tool.
