Setting Perspectives Bar width? [message #696824] Thu, 14 July 2011 22:16 Go to next message

I created a brand new project using the Hello World template for eclipse RAP.

I have two perspectives that I added to the workbench. I've enabled the setShowPerspectives to true however the actual buttons dont appear until I click the + drop down button. And once they are added the width of the perspectives bar is so small that it only shows one perspective button instead of two.

Is there any way to enforce the perspective buttons to always show in the top bar.

You may, however ask on the RCP Form and see there if someone knows a
workaround for this.

I don't need to programmatically control the width. If there is a config file I can edit then that would be just as good.

I'm not sure if this is done via branding or theming.

Jamie,

I don't know of a configuration option that controls the width of the
perspective bar either. Theming or branding definitely don't offer to
influence the perspective bar.
As I said, you may find an answer in the RCP forum.
