I have installed WindowBuilder Pro (via dl.google.com/eclipse/inst/d2wbpro/latest/3.6) using the "Install New Software..." feature of Eclispe, along with the Swing/GWT designer. I am using Eclipse 3.6.1.|
I can confirm that the packages appear in the "Installed Software" list, as org.eclipse.wb..., org.eclipse.wb.swing..., etc. (Am I "allowed" to install both the GWT and Swing designers?)
However, after restarting Eclipse I can't seem to actually *use* WB. When I navigate to Window->Preferences, I do not see "WindowBuilder". If I right-click an existing file, and navigate to "Open with...", there is not an option to selection WindowBuilder.
Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I checked out the FAQ, which lead me to look for the preferences which leads me to believe that not seeing them means that something else is wrong.
If it matters I am currently developing on a RHEL6 platform.
