Hello everyone,

I have tried to use
	PlatformUI.getWorkbench().restart();

to restart the application(for update).
The application updates, it shuts down, but it doesn't restart.
It has to be started manually.
Could someone please help me with this problem?
Thank you!

Greetings,
Alexandra.

Maybe you're not using the eclipse.exe but directly start the VM?

Hmm, I don't think I'm starting directly the VM.
I just exported the product, and gave it different name than eclipse. So I have nameOfProduct.exe which I double-click and the application starts.
But I don't know for sure that I'm not starting directly the VM. How do you do that?

If you use the .exe then that's OK.

Yes, I'm starting from the .exe.

Maybe you should not rename the exe after export

Actually, I'm not renaming it after the export.
I set the name of the executable before exporting the product, in the .product file, in Launching/Program Launcher/Launcher name.
