i tried to getting started with opengl in eclipse.

I downloaded the cdt version of eclipse and i have mingw working.

normal projects compile without any problems.

When i try to compile a standard opengl prgram e.g., Lesson 01 then i get the follwing:

in line:
#include <gl\glaux.h> // Header File For The GLaux Library

Unresolved inclusion: <gl\glaux.h>

what do i have to do to get gl running properly?

You should add the include path for the external library.
In Project Properties->C/C++ General->Paths and Symbols go to the Includes tab. Add the path for C (and C++ if your header contains C++ elements).
