What is "Java Eclipse"? Java is Java, Eclipse is Eclipse. Eclipse runs
on Java and its version is obtained by Help -> About Eclipse Platform.

The version of Java you're running depends on what you installed prior
to installing and running Eclipse. If you just let Eclipse run on
whatever JRE is installed on your computer host, you haven't chosen
well. Install a proper JDK, whose version you will obviously know since
you're installing it on purpose, then run Eclipse on that.

For more information, please see the first few articles under the
"Eclipse-oriented" menu at http://www.javahotchocolate.com

Hope this helps.

Thank you, Russell, for your replay.
Sorry for my bad English. The issue is as follows.
I have several versions of Java installed on my computer.
I'll like to tell Eclipse (Helios Release) to use a particular one. Not to build projects but to run under.
Is it possible? And how if so,
YSA

There are at least three ways and the best two are carefully discussed
in the literature I mentioned. Look at
http://www.javahotchocolate.com/tutorials/setup-jdk.html#pri vate, in
particular.

Yes, it's pretty simple. See http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse.ini

Hope this helps,
Eric
