Hi,

I use PDEBuild on Helios. My target is Equinox SDK 3.6 with delta pack Equinox 3.6.
The PDEBuild of my product is successfull, but the generated product does not work.
It seems that the org.eclipse.equinox.launcher plugin is missing... however this plugin does exist in plugins directory as org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.1.0.v20100507.jar. And its version number matches [1.0.0,1.2.0)... I do not understand !!!

Any help ?

Thanks.

Here is the content of config.ini :
#Product Runtime Configuration File
osgi.bundles.defaultStartLevel=4
osgi.bundles=org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.win32.win32.x86,org.eclipse.equinox.app@,org.eclipse.equinox.cm@,org.eclipse.equinox.common@,org.eclipse.equinox.concurrent@,org.eclipse.equinox.ds@,org.eclipse.equinox.util@,org.eclipse.osgi.services@,org.eclipse.osgi.util@,org.eclipse.equinox.registry@

And the content of log file with the error :

You probably have a configuration problem. This warning message by itself
does not prevent anything from running.

You are getting the message because org.eclipse.equinox.launcher is not on
the osgi.bundles list and the win32.win32.x86 fragment is. However, this
does not prevent eclipse from running because the launcher runs as regular
java because it starts the OSGi framework, it does not need to be resolved
as an osgi bundle.

Hi,

I resolved the problem !
It seems to be a bug.

The problem that the exec had not the same name than the .ini file. I had : eclipse.ini with launcher.exe.

XXX.exe tries to read XXX.ini file !!!

I did not fill the launcher name field in the product definition. It seems to be a bug in PDEBuild...

When I fill this field, .ini file and .exe file have the same name and it is ok.

Have a good day.
