We are using CVSNT 2.5.04 with Eclipse 3.4.2.

From my (extensive!) research on the web, it is very unclear if the Eclipse CVS client supports all of the features present in CVSNT.

In particular, file renaming and merge point tracking are of great importance to us, but do not seem to be available in the Eclipse CVS client.

Is anyone aware of a comprehensive site that would list the CVSNT features that are supported/unsupported in the Eclipse CVS client?

Thanks,

Mudge

I don't know if there's a documented list; if there is it would probably
be reachable from http://eclipse.org/eclipse/platform-cvs/ or
http://wiki.eclipse.org/CVS
In general, I think it's pretty safe to say that any features that are
specific to CVSNT are not going to be supported, since they are
"derivative" of the "true" cvs.

Hope this helps,
Eric
