I am mainly a Java developer but I have a rather large PHP app to code up so I'm going to use Eclipse. A few months ago I installed PDT plugin but during the New Project wizard, I kept getting an error (Creation of Element Failed: Build Path Contains Duplicate Entry....). I can't seem to find a solution so I am thinking I will uninstall PDT and try a fresh install to see if that has anything to do with it.

Can anyone advise on this in any way?

I believe this error was fixed a while ago, perhaps after you first
tried PDT. If you read through the message archives, you can probably
find someone else reporting the problem and that a subsequent release
fixed it.
