Problems with the weaver wizard [message #506669] Fri, 08 January 2010 15:42 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Originally posted by: kollarl.inf.unideb.hu

Dear all,

I have almost succeeded to set up the AMW environment (by compiling then
exporting the plugins and put to the dropins folder on Eclipse 3.4.2 +
EMF 2.4.0 + ATL 2.0.2) but if I start the weaver wizard and select the
metamodel extension to use I get the following error message:
Problems with KM3 metamodel
org.eclipse.gmt.tcs.injector.KM3_ANTLR3Lexer

Therefore I cannot go through to the second step of the wizard. However,
I have org.eclipse.am3.core_0.2.0.jar in the dropins folder that
contains the KM3-parser.jar where the KM3_ANTLR3Lexer.class can be found.

On the other hand, if I double click on an amw file of any of the use
cases I get an error that the editor cannot be opened due to a NPE that
can be found at the end of this message. It seems to me that it is
Platform.getBundle(plugin) which is null so it is unable to find the
bundle needed.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Best regards,

Lajos

P.S.: Juan Pedro, how does the migration to ATL3 stands? Are there any
news on this topic?

Hi,

this problem is due to the dependency of AMW on AM3 and on TCS injector (to be able to parse the KM3 input).

You will need to install a ATL+AM3 version for developers, which has all these plug-ins.

Otherwise, you may download a bundle with all the required plug-ins (AMW included) in the link below:

http://docatlanmod.emn.fr/Eclipse_Bundles/AMMA_Prototype/AMM APrototypeEclipse.zip

Regards,

Marcos.

Hi Lajos.
I was forced to move on some other subjects and leave the migration
aside. I may not be able to get back into it in the near future, at least.
Nonetheless, I believe Hugo Bruneliere and the rest of the people in
Inria were placing some effort on this (I presume they might have
something already, based on the release of AML).
I haven't contacted them recently, though, so I don't know for sure.
Regards,
Juan Pedro
