This may belong with the Sun Glassfish team, but in case anyone knows
the answer...
I have an EAR project in Eclipse containing a Dynamic Web Module and a
Java Module, the latter containing supporting JPA code for the Web module.
The first time I publish to the server, everything works fine. However,
if I modify anything while the server is running, Eclipse attempts to
publish the application again and fails saying that the Java module's
jar file is locked.
If I stop the server, start it and do a manual publish, it fails in the
same way. If I stop the server and just click the publish button,
(without starting the server first), it again fails in the same way.
The only way, I can republish is to stop the server and delete the
application from the...
C:\glassfishv3\glassfish\domains\domain1\eclipseApps
folder and then publish it again, which is driving me crazy.
So, is this just a classloader issue within glassfish? Is there a cure?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers
Chris
