I have my application set up so that it remembers the users configuration and, on open,
will also open all the views, etc, that the user had open before the application was closed.
When it automatically opens views like this, I noticed that the createPartControl() is not
called.
1.)How is this view being built on startup?
2.)From my understanding, if the activator isn't called, the createPartControl is also not called. Is this correct?

I am trying to use Activities/capabilities to disable views, perspectives, and editors.
However, when an activity that is pattern bound to a view is disabled, the view will still
open on startup. The view can also be opened by a command.
3.)Is this expected behavior?
4.)Is there any way to prevent this behavior?
