Hi,

I'm using Eclipse Galileo for mac 10.5.6. I just downloaded the Hibernate plugin from here -- https://www.hibernate.org/255.html. When I unzipped the file, there were two folders within it -- "features" and "plugins". Do I just copy all the stuff under "features" to the Eclipse features folder and do the same with plugins?

Thanks, - Dave

No. As of about 3.3, that is no longer a good way to install.

Ideally, Hibernate should be providing a repository, that you would install from
by going to Help -> Install New Software and adding the repository location;
then Eclipse handles the downloading and installing into the right place, and
also makes sure you have all the prerequisites (such as other plugins).

If Hibernate does not provide a repo, then you need to manually install. To do
that, unpack the zip into the 'dropins' folder, so you will end up with a
directory structure something like this:

.../eclipse
/dropins
/features
/plugins
