Hello elhanan,

> first of all is the cobol IDE project alive?

We still alive on this project, thanks.
Unfortunately we don't have much time to update COBOL IDE quickly, though, we recently have confirmed the opetation on Eclipse 3.4.2. We hope to update the COBOL IDE in order to run on Eclipse 3.5 by the end of the year.

No it doesn't but it seems a good idea. We think about it.

regards.

we are considering to use of microfocus cobol ide as it's the only with a debugger with it,

another reason is that our current cobol eclipse plug-in does not supprort bidi lines (hebrew right to left ) and left to right text at the same line

Hello elhanan,

Our product Fujitsu NetCOBOL for Windows has Eclipse-based ide with debugger. The debugger even can remote debug to COBOL server applicatons. If you are interested, please append it to the choice.

Sorry, it doesn't make sense to me about the second point. Would you tell me in detail?

regards,
tetsuya
