Hi,
I am looking for an generic GEF layout algorithm that will draw a network
graph of my simple model: nodes and connection.
Please can someone help me where to find something like this?

Hmm, isn't ZEST just visualisation...
I need editing tool like GEF editors and on it applying network layout
algorithm.

Zest can be used with GEF, after all it is a subproject of GEF.

you can use Zest Layout to compute the positions for nodes in your
network graph.

Is that not enough for your problem?
