Hello,

I've installed efxclipse 0.9 in Eclipse Luna from http://download.eclipse.org/efxclipse/updates-released/0.9.0/site/. There were no option for Luna and I selected Kepler. Installation went fine, and I can create a JavaFX project now.

I created a new FXML file and right-clicked on it - there is no menu option "Open with Scene Builder" there. Is it supported in Eclipse Luna?

I use MAC OS X version 1.9.3

Thanks

If you bring up the context menu on the fxml-File there should be an
option directly below the "New" entry which says "Open With SceneBuilder".

If you are on Luna you better install the 1.0.0 nightly build which is
available from http://download.eclipse.org/efxclipse/updates-nightly/site/

Hi Tom,

Thank you for quick response. The context menu to open Scene Builder is not being displayed (see attached file). I've installed the nightly 1.0 from the site you've suggested, but this didn't help. I'm running Eclipse Luna with Java 1.8.0_11 under MAC OS X 10.9.3.

Yakov

Sorry, I was under assumption that Scene Builder is packaged with Java and never bothered downloading and installing it separately Sad

Will do it now.

Unfortunately installing Scene Builder didn't help. I can run it independently, but it's not shown as a menu option in JavaFX project in eclipse. I've asked someone to try it under Windows - it works there, but not on my MAC OS computer.

I can only select Open With | Other and then manually find and select Screen Builder in the list of applications installed on my MAC.

the menu item should show up no matter if SceneBuilder is installed or not - I'm also running on OS-X and for me it works so I'm uncertain what to suggest? Are you running your Eclipse-IDE with JDK8?

Hi Tom,

I ran into the same problem, thought that this "Open with SceneBuilder" item is shown in both package explorer and navigator.

Found out that is only shown in the first one. Perhaps this is a solution for the origin issue?

Cheers
