Is it possible that e4 uses a different selection service (Provided by
ESelectionService) than eclipse 3.x and therefor it is not possible to
connect pure e4 MParts with eclipse 3.x PropertiesView? :(

Hello,

to judge whether an E3 migration is feasable, i would also be interested in the answer.

Is there an easy possibility to e.g. propagate selections from E4 SelectionService also to E3 selection service? E.g. by registering a separate SelectionListener to E4 SelectionService?

I would also be interested whether there are any concrete plans to migrate E3 properties view to E4 so that we are not forced to implement such things at all...

Thanks!
