Changing SelectionTool to ConnectionCreationTool [message #245871]

I am learning GEF by using the Logic Component example.

I am doing a SelectionTool extension called ExtendedSelectionTool
The idea is to eliminate ConnectionCreationTool and MarqueeTool, which
tasks are taken by the ExtendedSelectionTool.

This elimination avoids user changing tools on working.

The problem I face is on ConnectionCreationTool.

The plan is if a mouse pointer located on the left-bottom of a component
(on an rectangular area of 16 pixels), on SelectionTool's mouseHover,
it changes to ConnectionCreationTool immediately,
so that on clicking, a connection is "starting"

Is this possible?
