i am working with fortran since 30 years and with photran since a few
days. i cannot build any fortran shared libraries with eclipse 3.3 and
photran 4 under windows xp. all other managed build projects work
perfectly (like managed c executable project, managed c shared library,
managed fortran executable but NOT fortran shared library). when i add a
file to the project eclipse tells me "Nothing to build..."

sorry, if this has been discussed earlier. i searched the archives and
google for some days but couldn't find anything.

any hint would be GREAT

After 4 years I have your same problem Rolling Eyes

I cannot figure how to build a Fortran library and to link it from another Fortran project.

Definining the library project as shared produce a .exe, but putting it as library
of another project give errors like this

/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-cygwin/4.5.3/../../../../i686-pc-cygwin/bin/ld: cannot find -lC:/Documents\ and\ Settings/105034783/workspace/libmat/Release/libmat.exe
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
makefile:30: recipe for target `libpdf' failed
make: *** [libpdf] Error 1
