Hi!

I can't find any posts about this.

The action points are deprecated since 4.2 and the recommended way is to use commands/menus. Which is great, except that we're each on our own. Well, there are basic exmples and tutorials, but many use cases are not covered. Note that I am not referring to RCP, but workbench plug-ins.

Is it worth migrating existing code away from actions? Is it even possible, given that not even the platform has done that? [I am fighting with getting an editor ruler double click work with something else than an action, and that's just one of the troublemakers]

best regards,
Vlad
